World Smile Day is Friday the 5th of October and we thought we’d share some jokes to make you smile (not laugh because they are a bit cheesy!).
I once saw a camel with no humps. His name was Humphrey.
Why are frogs are so happy? They eat whatever bugs them.
Why did the skeleton hit the party solo? He had no body to go with him.
What do you call a snowman on a hot day? Puddle.
I just wrote a book on reverse psychology. Do not read it!
World Smile Day
We hope our little jokes have brightened your day. World smile day is held annually on the first Friday of every October since 1999. It was created by Harvey Ball, the commercial artist who also created the smiley face symbol. The idea is to have a day dedicated to smiling and acts of kindness. Smiling has health benefits, it lowers heart rate and blood pressure, it lowers stress and anxiety. Smiling is a natural pain killer as it realises endorphins, which can make you feel happier: easing pain. It makes you more approachable and it is contagious, smiling at somebody means they will more than likely return the positivity to you!
