Athirappilly Falls is one of the best places to visit in Kerala and at only 2 hours from Cochin how can you resist! If you are staying in the bustling city then this day tour is the perfect way to get away from the crowds.

This is the only location in the whole of the Western Ghats where you can catch a glimpse of the endangered hornbill. Indeed, even The International Bird Association has declared Athirappilly an “Important Bird Area” and the Asian Nature Conservation Foundation has recommended that the area should be declared a sanctuary or a national park.

This day tour is also a great choice for any wannabe trekkers who can’t quite summon up the energy for Kerala’s more strenuous excursions. You can reach top of The Athirapally Falls  with only a 15 minute walk from the falls’ entrance. So if you want wanderlust views (without exhausting yourself) then this tour is made for you! Swimming, trekking and photography – this waterfall has it all!
